ClickPay
ClickPay is a fintech startup specializing in accounts receivable automation for property managers. I joined as the sole in-house designer with no brand, no guidelines, and no roadmap. Over three years I built everything from scratch including visual identity, website, collateral, campaigns, events, and every customer-facing touchpoint. The company was later acquired by RealPage, and I was brought onto their creative team as a direct result of the brand I built.
Building a Brand from Nothing
Before I arrived, ClickPay had no visual identity to speak of. I rebuilt it from the ground up, modernizing the logo, establishing a color palette and typography system, and redesigning the website to feel credible, approachable, and ready to compete in a crowded fintech market.
Promotional Product Flyers
One-pagers and product sheets designed to do the heavy lifting for the sales team — clear, scannable, and built to communicate key features and benefits at a glance.
Marketing Materials
Not every resident is online yet. Buckslips and direct mail pieces bridged the gap, making it easy to drive portal adoption for residents who needed a physical nudge to get there.
Amex Rewards Campaign
A co-branded campaign with American Express designed to incentivize residents to pay rent online. Rewarding them for something they were already doing and driving meaningful engagement in the process.
Custom Branded Portals
Property managers needed portals that felt like their own. I built customizable branded templates that gave each community its own identity while keeping the experience seamless and secure for residents.
Customer UI UX Redesign
A cleaner, more intuitive interface that made paying rent feel less like a chore. The redesign streamlined navigation and simplified the payment flow, directly contributing to a 35% boost in online payment volume.
eBooks & Digital Assets
When Covid shut down physical events, we shifted to digital. I built out a library of eBooks and digital assets tailored for campaigns and product launches, keeping ClickPay visible and valuable to the homeowner community during a pivotal moment.
Brochures & Print Collateral
Every brochure was built to give the sales team something they could put directly in a prospect's hands. Concise, on-brand, and designed to make ClickPay's value clear from the first glance. Sometimes the most effective tool in the funnel is a well-designed piece of print.
Step by Step Animation
A friendly, approachable animation that walked residents through submitting rent online step by step. Breaking down a process that felt intimidating into something anyone could follow.
Camp ClickPay
ClickPay's answer to hands-on learning. Inspired by Salesforce's training model, Camp ClickPay brought clients and partners together to learn how ClickPay integrates with other systems. I built the full event brand identity including schedules, email templates, and all event materials.
Organic Social Media Marketing
Kept ClickPay visible and active across social, designing content that educated, informed, and engaged current and prospective clients about new products, features, and events.
Events & Tradeshows
ClickPay had no tradeshow presence when I started. I built one from scratch. Booth design, swag, giveaways, and everything in between, creating an experience that helped the brand stand out in a crowded marketplace.
Sales Enablement Campaigns
Brought lettering and calligraphy into the sales world. Designing welcome kits and event materials with custom type that gave each campaign its own personality and made the sales team's toolkit something worth opening.
