I'm Edwin Montero — a graphic designer, hand letterer, and photographer born and raised in the Bronx, New York. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Shintaro Akatsu School of Design at the University of Bridgeport.

I've been an artist my whole life. As a kid, my friends and family would hand me whatever they could find — scraps of paper, voided checks, paper bags, my mom's old bingo lottery tickets — just to watch me draw. That never really stopped. Art and design have been the two constants in everything I do.

What I Love: Simplicity, typography, letterforms, hand lettering, the color orange, calligraphy, markers, 70 degree weather, pizza, Apple products, the New York Mets, smooth jazz (heavy on the xylophone & sax), Batman the Animated Series.
